Last week Jeff and I headed to Galveston for a day or so to relax before my Doctors appointment in Houston.
Galveston.
If you ever visit Galveston you must eat at this restaurant!! Oh my goodness good!!
I was scheduled for three days of testing that would last hours each day. Dr's in Longview were concerned that I had MS, ALS or Lyme's Disease. We got to the hospital on Tuesday morning at 6:45 and by 10:30 the Dr had the results of the (very painful) tests they had done. I was diagnosed with Benign Fasciculation's. You will see, I'm sure, at some point my eyes, arms, and legs twitching for no reason at all. Anxiety and stress may or may not make it worse, but I am fine! He kicked us out of the hospital and said "Go de-stress and live your life!!" Since the kids were taken care of by sweet friends and family we left Houston at noon and got in the car and took off! We had no idea where we would end up, 3 1/2 hours later we ended up at Padre Island!

The view from our balcony.
One of my favorites.
Until next year!...
This was my little project after we got home. We bought the jar in Padre and collected our own sand, shells and sand dollars from the island. Yes I know they frown on that but this is my little piece of
Padre!
