11... How can it be?

I took him down town just like I did with Grace and took pics of him as well.  I do this, one, because I enjoy it and, two, we don't buy school photos because those are never good. So I take my own! Ha!
Mr. Cool Dude ;)

We had fun celebrating your day with your choice, spaghetti dinner and cup cakes!
And we pray that you will always be a man after God's heart!

Back to School

First day pic.
And this is how they really felt about school starting! Ha! Not really. Grace was super excited to get back that last night she could hardly sleep. The boys on the other hand were not too excited. But they were all smiles when we picked them up this afternoon! They had a great first day and are very excited about their teachers! Praise Jesus!

Jesus we pray as they begin a new school year, we pray that their lives would be grounded in you. May they live for you, reflect your love to others, and call on your name in times of joy and times of sadness. patience for all teaching and joy in all friendships.

Summer 2013

Has come to an end. I can not believe school will start on Monday. We do have one more sleepover planned and a few other things because we just can't say goodbye to summer just yet.  I am just not ready. Summer goes by way too fast. Not only will I miss the kids but not to mention Bella. Poor dog.

This post is just pretty much summing up our summer over the past few weeks.
Caden and Grace playing  Lunar golf the week Jared was at band camp.
 Youth parties
Sleepovers with good friends
Lots and lots of swimming
Not to mention free food;)
More time with friends

I have no comment other than youth, that is all.

Oh yeah, and a flat on I-20 is always fun. Caden was a huge help! He was taking Grace to Jeff's truck who was parked off the road and into a safer place and out of the way while Jeff, Jared and another very nice young man changed the flat.
Yesterday must have been mail box day. We helped Papaw pull his up
and we put ours back in the ground. Last week some disrespectful individuals thought it would be funny to run over all of the mail boxes in the neighborhood. Jokes on him though. The fire station across the street from us has security cameras that face our street. Ha!

Grace had a sleepover with my Aunt Peggy & Uncle Don last week and I can not tell you how much fun she had! They caught their own fish and fried it up and had a wonderful fish fry, went swimming and not to mention....
Dress up! Where is my little girl Aunt Peggy?? Grace had such a great time! (Thank you Aunt Peggy for the pics)

Jared skiing and up on his first try

Caden skiing and up on his first try as well!
Thank you for being such a wonderful aunt and uncle to my kids!

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Grace Elizabeth

This week we walked down town Longview and had fun taking photos.
I can not believe you are 6 years old.

You are such a ray of sunshine - always happy, always laughing.

It makes me sad that you are getting so big
and yet I just LOVE the age you are.
This mornings birthday pancakes:)
No "birthday party" this year but you and Alyssa had a blast today!
You are such a blessing to me and your Daddy! Happy Birthday!

God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3

Build-A-Bear Birthday

Time is flying by so fast. I can not believe our little girl will be 6 years old on Saturday! She is so excited and is ready to start first grade.

This year we celebrated her birth at the Build-A-Bear at the Boardwalk in Shreveport with the Grandparents! And what a blessed day we had!
Making a wish as we walked in.
Soooo many to choose from....
Her Nenaw helping her decided on one. :)
Stuffing the Bear, in Grace's case, the pink kitty.
After choosing a heart, she warmed it and sealed it with a kiss.
Bath time.
After she finally decided on an outfit, it was wardrobe time!
After the adoption papers were filled out and final, she was ready! Welcome Sabrina to the family!
We have such great parents, and wonderful grandparents to our kids! Thank you for spending the day celebrating Grace with us!
