Farm Fair

Last weekend our church had their yearly farm fair! This has always been a lot of fun for the kids but now that they (the boys) are getting older I wasn't sure how they would do. After Jared came home a few weeks ago from youth group saying the youth was helping with games... I knew he would have fun. But then there's my 10 year old who doesn't want to dress up for Halloween and who also informed me he didn't want to participate in the Christmas program. Goodness.
I knew one thing though, I knew this little girl would have a good time!
Katie and Grace
Yes, she made all 4 rolls into the potty:) Jeff said, "If only she would put her toys away that well." Ha!
Love this one of Caden helping Mr. Eric with the remote control cars! He enjoyed this so much, he is still talking about how much fun he had! Thank you Eric for letting the boys help with this!!

I could never get a pic of Jared helping out but he enjoyed the evening even though he was going on 30mins of sleep in 36hrs. Yes. Not a smart choice on his part. He was miserable by the end of the day.

Happy Halloween!

So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12

1st Picture Day

Grace had her first school picture taken yesterday.
Just in case the the photographer couldn't get a good picture of her I wanted to take a quick pic of her before school. My baby girl is growing up too fast!

Pumpkin Carving

This weekend in between Jared spending time with his cousin and small group we had a fun few hours of pumpkin carving!

Grace asked for a flower on her pumpkin and when she realized how well her daddy's carving skills were she gave him a huge hug and said, "Thank you, thank you Daddy!"

The boys didn't want there own pumpkin they just wanted to help us girls. And being that I did my polka-dotted pumpkin with a drill bit the boys enjoyed helping me! I thought  they both turned out so cute!

gig 'em

This past weekend the Aggies came to Hallsville!
Caden counted how many were on a each row and multiplied it by how many rows...it was over 360  band members! Wow!

They were awesome and extremely loud!
My parents came over this weekend and I showed them the video, which I've tried to down load for two days and blogger won't allow it. Anyways, I was telling them how loud they were and with my bro being an Aggie graduate they knew exactly what I was talking about. They said, "Oh that's nothing, you should hear them at the Aggie stadium! Lol!"

What a treat for the City of Hallsville and the surrounding areas!
gig 'em!

Duke University

We received this letter last week from the school district!
This was given to the students that achieved a score at or above 95% in the country on a recent test.  Coming from a certain someone that was thrilled to make a 70 on a report card through out school I am speech less. We are curious to see how he does. And no matter what we give all the glory to God!!

Yee Haw

This weekend was Western Days here in Hallsville!
Grace was so excited to be celebrating this year at School!

We had such a fun day together, petting the animals, hay rides and western games! She definitely keeps me young and makes me miss the boys being this age. They grow up so quick....I think I say this in every post.  :/

Bundled up trying to keep warm this morning waiting for the parade to start!

She had the right idea staying in the truck until it started. ;)

First parade march... Here they come!!
Get those horns up boys! lol! They did a great job and sounded wonderful!
And these two had a blast just picking up candy! The sheer joy of free parade candy...

Yeehawww y'all! Have a blessed weekend!

Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

Ranger Fans

Ever since Caden's birthday last year he has been ready to go see the Rangers play again! But this year he got to bring a friend along with him! Caden chose to opt out of "the birthday party" this year so that him and his friend Connor to see the Rangers play!
About to enter the stadium
Yes, and I was nice this year. Since I have been twice to see them play and Jeff had never been, I let him take him this year! Even though everyone knows Caden and I are the true sports fanatics in our house;) Jeff did say it was cool and would love to go again! Yay!
I love this. Jeff told me both boys were so excited!

Connor: "This is the coolest thing I've ever seen!"

Caden: "Yeah..."
