Watch out world! Let the fun begin.
Well. I'm not sure what to say about today. Really.Where has the time gone? Today we headed to Marshall after dropping off the other two kids at school (no waiting in line and so worth the drive)for Jared to take the written portion of the test.
Well, he passed and got his permit today.
Legally, he could have done this six months ago but we are the mean parents and made him wait until he was 15 and a half ;) And, legally, he could get his drivers license in 6 months, on his birthday, but..... yeah, we will see about that.
We have been working with him over the past 6 months, letting him drive the back country roads to Nana and Papaws house about once a week.
In all honesty, we are so excited for him, and scared. Scared, because of all the crazies out there, but excited he can start running errands for us! Ha!
For the first time, today, I let him drive home this morning. I drove us to 968 in Marshall and he took over from there. He really did a great job! Very few cars out at 10am, but we did come up on a small construction crew. It was the perfect scenario for his first time behind the wheel.
Pray for us! Lol!
