A Weekend With My Boys

A few week ago the boys and I went on a Mom & Me camp out, with the cub scouts. Saturday was dry for the most part. On Sunday morning about 2:00 am the storms moved in! The tent held up great. We stayed nice and dry, until it was time to pack up and hike up hill, to get to the car. I would do it all again...we really had a fun weekend together :)

Ok, the sling shot event was hard! The Instructor, Caden and myself didn't even get close to hitting the target. But leave it up to Jared, he hit it on his first shot!

Here is the famous Bottle Rocket event. I like this picture, you can see one of the bottles launching with water trail behind it!

Over in the archery event the boys did very well. I heard another child say, "that one little boy is good!" Yes, Caden had no problem keeping up with the "big boys" in this event. He got 4 out of 5 bullseye.

Both of them enjoyed the BB rifle. In this event Caden earned his belt loop, and Jared earned his patch. Job well done, boys!!
