Swim Lessions

Grace is taking swimming lessons for the first time

and she is doing very well according to our good friend Caleb the Life Guard.

 

This is just a short clip of what poor Caleb has to deal with, with these sweet girls.

Poor guy, I think he has his hands full.

First time in the drivers seat....

Jeff and Jared took a trip around a little country road last Saturday. All I will say is, watch at your own risk. Lol! Thankfully they both survived! ;)

 

When they got back with the video I couldn't stop laughing, Jeff was sooo stressed. I asked him if I was gong to be the one who taught the kids how to drive. He didn't answer me. Lol! Jared has driven the grandparents rhino and golf cart so I'm surprised he was having difficulties with the braking. I suppose you never know what they will do when they are in the drivers seat.

Their oldest is moving to Dallas to attend college and they wanted to capture a few shots as a family before she left.

Last Day Of School

 And it's a wrap! As of yesterday summertime is officially in session at the Cornett household! Time for lots of pool time, family time, staying up late, and of course lots of relaxing!

I now have a 8th grader, 6th grader and a 1st grader. How did this happen?   

I  almost didn't get her to sit still long enough to get a picture of us at her school party. She was so excited!

and again on Thursday. Can't believe these girls are almost 6 years old.

Jazz Band/Party

This year Jared joined the Jazz Band and the other day they had their concert.

All I can say is WOW! They did an awesome job!!

 

And the Grandparents were able to come! Yay!

And today, the last day of school, our good friends had an end of the year pool party and 99% of them were band students Lol! I think there was only one non- band member there:) We are going to miss this sweet family when they move away this summer:(

Last night Jared received two band awards

Superior Performance at UIL Solo & Ensemble, also Most Improved Upper Brass. Proud of my musician!

 

His freckles and long eyelashes got him a citizenship award and a summit club member!

 

She was just a little excited this morning before her program! I still can't believe our little girl graduated Kindergarten today. Mommy and Daddy are so very proud of you sweetheart!!

 

She got A honor roll, Champs and Citizenship award!

Crawfish

I am getting so behind on my post but I am going to do my best and play catch up at some point this week. We will see how well that works out being that we have three kiddos in school this year, I'm truly living at the school this week. Programs, programs, and more programs, awards and party's! Goodness I'm tired just typing it.

 

Anyways back to the fun crawfish party! Friends from our church invited us last year and it was a lot of fun so we joined them again this year for some good crawfish eatin! This year it was at lake Cherokee and not to far from where Jeff and I used to live, it was just around the corner!

This is some of our good friends and if you look close enough you will see a man, Lock Curfman, in a pink shirt and black shorts carrying something upside down and over his back and shoulders...That would be our daughter! Hahaha! The things you would have never noticed until captured in a photo!
