Happy Birthday America!
Celebrating America's Birthday at The Mirick's! Thank you so much for inviting us, as you can see Ms. Grace had a blast!!
Wednesday evening we enjoyed an awesome Firework show at The Hill's House. We had such a wonderful time! Thank you so much for having us.
Looking at all that is going on in this photo makes me giggle. The kids playing and having a great time, all the while trying not to get burnt. Jared stomping out flames, while two watch in concern. Plus all that firework smoke! Fun times!! They are making fun memories and I love it!
They truly out did themselves. It was beautiful!
Saturday morning we loading up and headed to Bossier La. to spend the day with my family.
This is always so much fun but this year was a little different, with this being the first time we have all gotten together since Mom was diagnosed with ALS, time together was very special.
One of the many times the kids went out on the boat my Uncle Paul and I were the only adults and we had the opportunity to share what's on our hearts. We have always known that family is so important and spending time together is something we can never get back, but we do realize that we have taken all these years for granted. We are all getting older and unfortunatly we all will not live to be 85 years old like MeMaw. He had me in tears. (Thankful for my dark sunglasses).
Lilly and Jared riding the waves!
Love this one! Caden eaten it up!
Poor baby girl. She went swimming in the pool and she rode in the boat, but she never asked to innertube. We had a non stop very busy week and she has always been prone to run a low grade fever if she has been going non stop. After a week of water parties, fireworks, grandparents and a day at the lake, she was exausted. After a dose of motrin and 24 hours later she was feeling much better.
