We spent our morning at the football field, for Jared's Track and Field Day.
Every year the school puts together a "track day" filled with sporting events...
...and the kiddos really have a lot of fun!
Plus... they get to leave school early too!! Yay! :) He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21
What did he compete in? How did he do? I always enjoy track day and thankfully, that day was not too hot. I have roasted out there.
ReplyDeleteTrack day is also one of my favorites ;) The weather this year was wonderful!...I even got a little chilled when the wind blew. In years past we have walked away roasted too! He competed in three events...The Softball Throw (5th place), 100 yard dash(4th place), and The Hurdles (5th place). We were a little worried about him competing in the Hurdle event, because he sprained his back a few weeks ago. But, he did great!...cleared them all with ease!
